When they get busy, they do not answer the phone. It is the only thing i can possibly say that is negative about them.
I dont think they do
We had been told this was one of those great small restaurants that you find every so often that you don't expect to find in some little store front. They were right.... really 1st quality food and reasonably priced. We had a great meal and the service wasn't bad. The soups are the bomb! The thing we liked the most were the wonderful fresh rolls!
We got green curry with tofu and chicken. Flavor was good, but the dish was way too salty. Tom Yum soup was pretty good though. Almost no AC running in the restaurant. Feels really warm. Hot soup makes it worse. Staff was mostly friendly.Got my check and found out they got one entree charged wrong. Told the server about it when he came to pick up my credit card. What made me upset was they didn't do anything about it when they charged my card. I had to go to the counter to get it fixed.
Best Thai place in town. Period. Only downside is that they close for a unique time period in the afternoon so be sure to check hours before you go.Runner up: Alex Thai
Our favorite Thai place in the Chattanooga area! You can't beat getting tofu noodle or stir fry type dishes for under $8!! If you're a vegan I suggest the pad kee mow with tofu, just ask for no egg!
Fantastic value. Authentic Thai. Sometimes they get a bit in the weeds, but that is mostly because their food is so good. One of my favorite places to eat.
The food was really good & the server was hilarious. I went here with two other friends & she gave the one who eats there often grief for not being able to finish his HUGE bowl of Phở like the other did. Atmosphere is laid back with a variety of people sitting around the restaurant. I'd love to go back & try something new next time.Note: Seat yourself & Pay at register
Definitely unassuming, definitely delicious. Good variety on the menu, has something to offer for every palette! Quick service, keeping it simple. Good place for a quick work lunch.
Found this little gem by accident. So glad we did. Their coconut soup is AMAZING. The pad thai is also so good. I can't wait to try so many more things on the menu. I would have included a pic but we're always too busy eating and finish our food before we think about it. The staff is also so friendly.
Delicious and very inexpensive for the amount of food you get. Definitely a hidden gem in East Ridge
Really enjoyed the food here! I can’t believe I’ve never been here before. The portion sizes were large and a great value. I loved the pad Thai. It was delicious! I also was a big fan of the Thai coffee! I will definitely be back.
You’re gonna love this place! The food is SO good, and very inexpensive. Not a fancy restaurant, but the food is top notch!
Authentic Thai food in a casual unassuming location in a strip mall. Friendly fast service. Tom yum soup is the best in town-flavorful and spicy
Delicious food! Always packed! I had ginger stir fry and Tom yum soup, I loved it. They serve large portions. It will fill you up.
We got take out. The dumplings and pho were really good. The pad see eww wasn’t as good as I had hoped.
Absolutely DELICIOUS!!! Fresh food, cooked at the instant, super nice people attending customers. Plates are very well served, even the kids menu. Noodles are beyond amazing, curry plates, fried rice, all the menu is really really good!
Had the Pad Thai; they make it well! Also had the Golden Puff appetizer (a pork and shrimp patty, fried and sliced, with a sweet cucumber-peanut dipping sauce); very tasty. Servings were large for the price. The restaurant is small, maybe 20 tables, but the staff was attentive and friendly! Definitely worth future trips!
Absolutely delicious! I’d surely be a regular customer if I lived in the area. Either way, it’s a must!
We stopped I. Tonight after stopping at another so called Thai place. We and came here. Busy, but the severs were nice and quickFood was great. My wife loved the som tom..If in the area again we will stop and eat here again..
This place is a no nonsense kind of environment but this food is fantastic! If you like really great Tai food this is a gem to find.
We enjoy authentic Thai dishes here at an amazingly low price. The portions are HUGE for the price! If you don't plan on taking home leftovers, order a small or half portion. We routinely order the coconut soup (Tom Kha Ga) and chicken satay with a delicious peanut sauce. I like the Masaman curry with perfect jasmine rice, my Husband's favorite is the Pad Thai with 3 peppers. Pad See-ew is also good. The pineapple fried rice is my go-to, excellent because it doesn't have curry powder, which every other Thai restaurant in Chatt puts in theirs. The spring rolls with spicy dipping sauce are SO good! Try the papaya salad! The flavor of the dishes is authentic. Be sure to ask for no salt added. The wait staff is very kind, helpful, and give good recommendations. The quality is consistent and we have tried almost everything on the menu! I miss it SO much now that I moved out of Chatt and I wish I could still eat there once a week. This is THE BEST Thai restaurant in Chattanooga, hands down.
Can't say enough about how good the food is here. The Pho Tao perfect, the spring rolls were the best we can recall having, and the dumplings were spot on! The prices are pretty reasonable all things considered, and the staff is super friendly. They do close mid-afternoon between lunch and dinner which we didn't know our first attempt to eat here so I've included hours in my photo among other things.
I've been to multiple Thai restaurants in town, this place is hands down the best! Panang curry was spicy and delicious- tons of food for the reasonable prices. Treat yourself to a Thai tea or coffee, too! Worth the drive across town. Thai Esan is my new go-to for Thai food in Chatt!
Excellent food. First time trying Thai and will definitely be back!
I love this place. My husband and I have been twice and enjoyed the food and the service both times. I would recommend the dumplings appetizer over the meatballs as they just didn’t do it for me. The Tom Yum soup and the Coconut soup are both excellent though I wish they’d use oyster mushrooms instead of button. There’s only ten tables and usually just two servers so be patient and enjoy it. We will definitely return
I love this place. Tom Yum soups is so delicious
Love the red curry with tofu 🙌🏻 Truly the best Thai Food in Chattanooga.
Best Thai food I've ever had. I've had it in different states before and none of it even compares to the food they have here. I got the Thai fried rice and mango sticky rice (dessert) and it was superb. The reason for the 4 stars is because the noodles are a bit off. For those who have been to Thai chili; their pad see ew and pad Thai have more flavor and texture to it. But any fried rice or curry here is most definitely better than chili. It is a rather small place though. Not that many decorations and the biggest party you would most likely fit would be no more than 10 as there are usually people that fill up the other tables. Staff is nice but sometimes doesn't check up on the customers enough. Overall: great food, small place, meh service.
Amazing food! Try this place for sure if you like authentic Thai or Vietnamese food!
Delicious food, good portions...and kind of addictive!
This is the best Thai in the Chattanooga area!My favorite is Lad Na, Thai hot! Large portions, always some to take home. I can eat here every day!
Most authentic Thai cooking in Chattanooga area. Love the Tom Yum soup, Penang curry. They can make it real Thai hot as well. Love this place.
Not so fancy... Small place..But good authentic thai food.. we could feel the homeliness of the food.. no artificial flavors or colors..The portion size is very good compare to price.Me and my husband could no finish our curries in one meal. Also, there are multiple thai sauces available; which are not placed in other restaurants. We got one destination whenever we visit Chattanooga.. 😊
food is excellentBut dont try to call aheadShe doesn't answer #HaikuReview
Everything that I have eaten here has been amazing! It is the best Thai food I have ever had. We go often.
Simply the best Thai food you'll find in the Chattanooga area! The portions are massive, the prices are reasonable, and the staff are beyond helpful! If you like spice, our waitress told us: "The chefs can do whatever you can handle."
Excellent Pad Kee Mao and Pho! Small quiet little gem of a restaurant. Service was great. Definitely worth going too.
My favorite Thai in Chattanooga. Good portions, friendly staff and little touches like brown rice. If your vegetarian like me, try the Laap Salad using shredded tofu instead of chicken or beef; with level 2 heat it is the bomb! Tofu Pad Woon Sen is a great noodle dish with mixed veggies, finally the Tofu Lad Naa is an amazing soup with a rich broth, tofu, noodles and something new to me, Chinese broccoli. I could eat here almost every day.
We had an unfortunate incident today and the manager (Diana) was sorely lacking in managerial and customer service skills. We have eaten at this establishment many times and have recommended this to our colleagues. However, we will be letting our colleagues and the public know about the unprofessionalism of Diana. She was rude, condescending and demeaning when it was clear that Thai Esan made a mistake with our order. She made us feel like she was doing us a favor to correct their error. I will forward this post to my colleagues.
Excellent Thai tea, decent menu selection that lets you customize your spice level for each dish. We love the dumpling app too! Don't overlook this hidden gem or judge it by it's cover! Small place, clean and sparse but not cheesey at least. Super friendly family staff.
Good food, good prices!
Amazing Thai food. Try the Ginger dinner. Omgahhh and the spring rolls with Mandarin Chili sauce! 😍
Everything was perfect! From the dumplings for an appetizer to the spicy thai beef fried rice. Definitely highly recommended !
Hands down the best Thai food in the Chattanooga area :) Thanks guys!
Just had my second visit here and it's been amazing both times. Came with a group both times and food came out great. Reasonable prices and big portions. Best Thai food that I've had in town.
This is the best Thai food I've had since I've moved to Chattanooga. Had the Massaman curry, spicy 3 and it was fantastic. Can't wait to try something else!
Tried this place several times, each time thinking maybe it was a fluke or a different dish I chose...but no, the food is not good. The ingredients are all there but there is NO flavor! Not sure what all the great reviews are about but honestly if you have eaten Thai in other areas as I have...many other states, Chicago, Atlanta, Orlando etc..you will be disappointed. If you are lucky and a "bird in a cage" then you may be satisfied. Even my kids don't like it and they love Thai. In addition, they don't tell you on takeout that charge a mandatory tip...what, for takeout, for handing me my bags and taking my money! If they had let me know this up front I wouldn't have ordered with them for takeout. $70 for 4 dinners, takeout...absurd, especially for the over all lack of taste.
Always come here ANYTIME IM ANYWHERE IN TENNESSEE no matter HOW FAR! Love this place!
Amazing Thai, some of the best I've had, the Thai tea is amazing, portions were great, had enough to eat and plenty to bring home, and prices were super Cheap, definitely recommend for anyone near by.
Great food and a lot of it. Portions are quite large for the price ($9-$11 per entree, depending on the protein requested). Thai hot means Thai hot at this establishment, so be cautious when ordering your food that way unless you are prepared for some serious heat. Friendly waitstaff. Small, but tidy restaurant. Simply the best Thai food in town, followed by Rain Thai on Shallowford. Come give it a shot.
I was hungey for sweet and sour soup , but due to the Covid10l9 pandemic, all local Chinese restaurants are closed, so I went here for takeout. I triwd te Tom Yum Soup and my daughter got Pho. The Tom Yum soup is.very good , but the problem is that the portion is way too small for the price. My daughter also loved the pho. If they qould give you a larger portion of Tom Yum, I'd give them 5 stars. The way it is now, you get half of a small container for $5 . The same container full of Hot and Sour soup at most all Chinese restaurants (I have been to all over the South) would have cost no more.than $2. In fact most Chinese restaurants give you a large contauner of Hot and Sour soup for $5. Tom Yum is.the Thai version and should.not be so expensive for such a small portion.
